Designed to be different
CorniceStoneTM is an exterior composite material that provides tremendous flexibility by introducing decorative elements to exteriors in new construction or renovation. CorniceStoneTM offers a wide range of advantages for architects and designers including the capability for it to be made into large parts that would otherwise require more costly support structures and increased installation costs (as compared to other materials such as precast or GFRC).
Formglas products enable architects and designers to incorporate complex or simple elements that lend an exciting dimension to interior and exterior spaces. They have been tested around the world and meet the most stringent fire codes. Formglas materials are lightweight, safe to work with and relatively easy to install. The majority of our products are made for specific projects using custom molds and tooling created with the help of the most advanced CNC equipment available, resulting in parts that are unmatched in quality and accuracy.
Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) is a thermoset plastic composite constructed from many combinations of polymer resins, organic fillers, and fiberglass reinforcements engineered to achieve a desired performance from the product being produced. The greatest advantage of a fiberglass composite is the design flexibility it offers to architects, designers and fabricators, and the long-term durability of the material.
Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is a proven engineered composite building material consisting of Portland cement, aggregate, color pigments, and glass fiber reinforcement. The glass fibers reinforce the concrete, much as steel reinforcing bars do in conventional construction. The glass fiber reinforcement results in a product with much higher flexural strength than normal concrete, allowing its use in thin-wall casting applications.
